Customer Service Co-Ordinator c. £28k

We’re looking for a Customer Service Co-Ordinator to join a dynamic team in Newcastle upon Tyne, managing a portfolio of customer accounts with precision, professionalism, and care.
The Role:
* Managing your own portfolio of customer accounts and ensuring an exceptional level of service
* Tracking progress against departmental KPIs and service targets
* Communicating efficiently with both customers and internal teams
* Supporting product launches and coordinating key account activities
* Resolving issues proactively and identifying improvements in service delivery
* Ensuring accurate data transfer from order through to invoicing
* Monitoring key metrics including aged stock, reserves, and WIP to meet company standards
* Attending off-site customer visits when required
* Supporting team collaboration and assisting with holiday cover and handovers
The Candidate:
* Experienced in a manufacturing or packaging environment
* Exceptionally organised and detail-oriented
* Numerate and confident handling product specs, orders, and invoicing
* A strong communicator — both written and verbal — with a professional and friendly telephone manner
* A team player who’s proactive, resourceful, and solution-driven
* Should be comfortable working in a structured environment, managing multiple priorities, sometimes under time pressure
