Job Title: Aviation Safety Investigator
Location: Bournemouth, Dorset
Salary: £50-60k per annum

Key Responsibilities

Lead investigations into aviation incidents, occurrences, and accidents in line with Safety Management System (SMS) processes.
Act as the first responder in aviation incident deployments, including international travel to site if required.
Deliver detailed safety recommendations to mitigate future risks.
Proactively review aviation incident reports to identify the need for further investigation.
Drive continuous improvement of investigation processes and safety procedures.
Engage with stakeholders to resolve issues identified during investigations.
Manage the Event Review Group (ERG) process and contribute to post-incident reviews.
Promote and support a positive safety culture in alignment with the organisation’s SMS. 
Experience

Qualified Aviation Safety Investigator with demonstrable experience in safety investigations.
Minimum 5 years' experience within the aviation industry in a safety, flight operations, or engineering capacity.
Strong background working with Safety Management Systems and aviation regulations.
Proven experience implementing new processes and procedures. 
Qualifications

Aviation Safety Investigation certification or equivalent recognised qualification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using specialist safety and investigation software.
