Job Title: Vehicle Technician - LCV/HGV

Location: Wednesbury

Reporting To: Fleet Manager

Salary: basic from £42,000 p/a

Main Responsibilities           

Utilising your technical knowledge to carry out services, repairs and maintenance on customer vehicles, including mechanical work
Carry out vehicle health checks and road test vehicles to ensure they are safe and road worthy
Carry out mechanical, electrical and engine repair work, where required
Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
Utilise diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and address issues with Renault
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs
Maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace
Communicate successfully with teams where needed to explain repair findings and recommendations
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours             

Minimum of a level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Experience in wiring and camera maintenance
Car service and repair experience
Full and valid UK driving licence
Vehicle technical knowledge
Great attention to detail
Strong organisational skills
