Communications Officer / Marketing Assistant – Maternity Cover ? Location: Mansfield ⏳ Hours: Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM ? Salary: £25,000 + Maternity Contract
Francesca’s Recruitment Ltd is excited to be hiring for a Communications Officer / Marketing Executive to support a well-established business in the KBB industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead communications, digital campaigns, and industry engagement within a dynamic team.
About the Role: As Communications Officer / Marketing Executive, you will take ownership of digital campaigns, newsletters, social media, and market research to boost industry presence. You’ll collaborate with media agencies and digital specialists to ensure all communication is innovative, engaging, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct market research to maintain and update industry databases.

Develop compelling content for articles, blogs, newsletters, and podcasts.
*
Manage social media campaigns and digital marketing activities.
*
Ensure the company website remains current and visually engaging.
*
Organize and facilitate webinars and online engagement initiatives.
*
Partner with trade press to amplify industry updates.
*
Compile reports and support key industry events.
What We’re Looking For: ✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling ✅ Experience in media, digital marketing, or social media (desirable) ✅ A self-starter with ambition, creativity, and drive ✅ Meticulous attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills ✅ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital tools ✅ A positive, adaptable attitude and team spirit
Qualifications & Experience: ? GCSE English (essential); Media Studies or Journalism (desirable) ? Previous experience in digital marketing, communications, or content creation ? Knowledge of social media platforms and content management systems
