DC Personnel are looking for an experienced Powder Coater for our client based in LE3.

Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm OR 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
Pay: £14 per hour (minimum 2 years powder coating experience required).

Temp role, potential to turn permanent for the right candidate

About the Role:

You’ll be working on a conveyorised powder coating line. Previous experience on a continuous line is preferred and essential is at least 2 years’ experience in powder coating. Training will be provided where necessary.

Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading the powder coating line.
Using cranes to handle heavier items.
Hand coating intricate parts to a high standard.
Overcoating using two-coat powder systems.
Checking the quality of coated parts.
Coating to specified paint thicknesses.
Following health & safety procedures at all times.
Meeting tight deadlines and production targets.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 2 years’ experience powder coating to a high standard.
Hardworking, reliable, and flexible with willingness to work overtime if needed.
Able to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
Well-organised, responsible, and able to work on own initiative.
Good technical understanding of powder coating processes.
Willing to learn and grow within a high-performance team.
Physically fit and able to handle labour-intensive work including heavy lifting in a powder coating workshop environment.
