My client, a fast-growing coatings company, is looking for a Trainee Laboratory Technician - Paint Mixing & Colour Matching.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to start a long-term career in the coatings industry. No experience is required, as full training is provided. They are looking for someone with good numeracy and literacy skills, attention to detail, and a real eagerness to learn.

Role Overview

The trainee will support the laboratory team with tasks such as:

Mixing and matching paint colours according to formulas.

Preparing and testing coating samples.

Assisting with quality checks and keeping the lab organised.

Recording information accurately and following safety procedures.
