Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

We are working in partnership with a well-respected primary school in Borehamwood, known for its supportive community, strong academic ethos, and dedication to pupil wellbeing. They are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join their Key Stage 2 team from September. This is a wonderful opportunity to support pupils at a pivotal stage in their primary education.
Responsibilities:
Plan and teach well-structured, engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and resilience
Monitor and assess pupil progress to inform planning and support individual learning
Maintain high standards of behaviour, learning, and mutual respect
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
Take part in school-wide events, staff training, and collaborative planning
Contribute to enrichment activities, including trips and extracurricular opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - desirable but not essential
Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (experience in Year 3 preferred but not essential)
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment strategies
A nurturing, reflective teaching style with a focus on pupil development
Ability to maintain a calm, consistent, and positive classroom environment
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
