We’re hiring: Management Accountant - Enabling and Earthworks

At the Civil Works Alliance (CWA), we’re proud to be part of the team delivering Sizewell C, a landmark project that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and secure Britain’s energy future for decades to come.

I’m currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join us in Ipswich or Leiston, supporting the Enabling and Earthworks teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial compliance across the project and working closely with diverse teams in Production, Commercial, Finance, and Cost Control to maintain rigorous cost control and budgeting processes.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading monthly cost closing activities, including reviewing cost reallocations and accruals.

Monitoring budget vs. end-of-site quantities and managing budget adjustments.

Preparing detailed monthly control reports highlighting variances and their causes.

Collaborating closely with Production and Commercial teams to forecast costs and set budgets quarterly and annually.

Overseeing sub-contractor and supplier audit compliance to ensure accurate order processing and timely invoice resolution.

What you’ll bring:

Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

Proven ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams.

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to meeting reporting deadlines.

Experience with SAP is advantageous.

A proactive, customer-focused approach to finance and cost management.
