The role
As a KS1 teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early educational experiences of children in Years 1 and 2. You’ll deliver creative and engaging lessons that foster curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning. Working closely with a dedicated Key Stage 1 team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and take part in regular professional development sessions.
Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers
