We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team in our Rotherham site. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience. Role is based in the Rotherham S60 depot Mon- Fri 07.00 - 15.30 with opportunities for Overtime.

Duties

* Repair, Maintain and undertake PPM's on various fixed and mobile plant

* Have experience of conveyors, crushers, screens and similar material handling Plant

* Some knowledge of Maintenance and Repair of Mobile Plant such as Loading Shovels and excavators would be a distinct advantage.

* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any issues that arise. Be a good team player and have good attention to detail

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the mining, quarrying, or heavy materials handling or engineering sector.

* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering would be ideal but not essential

Pay: £40,000.00 per year
