Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
Location: Remote Fully remote. Company office in Manchester.
Hours of work: 39 hours
Salary – Negotiable on Experience
Main Purpose of Your Role:
* Business development of all gas, battery, and standby projects.
* Build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed forecasts and strive in meeting customer needs.
* Communicate effectively with Engineering Consultants.
* Coordinate with Contractors, CHP Companies, Energy Management Organisations, STOR, Battery Developers & AD / Biogas Technology Providers.
Goals & Objectives:
* Increase CHP, Battery, Standby and Gas Generator Sales
* Achieve company objectives through planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data and making forecasts.
Main Duties & Responsibilities not limited to:
* Prepare and report on market & business analysis
* Assist completing tenders, enquiries, quotations and technical offers
* Input into the technical and commercial viability of projects
* Recruit, train and coach within the sales team whilst setting departmental objectives and
* monitoring their performance.
* Hold regular meetings with the sales team, to monitor progress and identify any gaps in
* performance to develop strategies to ensure company objectives are met.
* Provide accurate reporting on enquiries and market conditions to management team.
Full current Driving Licence - The role requires travel throughout the UK, weekend work and possible out of hours’ work.
Willingness to undertake necessary mandatory in-house training programme associated with the role.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience of selling to the CHP and power generation market
* Knowledge and experience with MWM products
* Knowledge and experience in business law.
