Commercial Account Manager - Renewable Energy / Solar PV
Full Time | UK-Based | Competitive Salary + Uncapped Commission

A fast-growing distributor in the Renewable & Power Solutions sector is looking for a driven Commercial Account Manager to join their expanding sales team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with leading global brands in the Solar PV and power solutions market, building strong relationships with installation companies and delivering tailored solutions for commercial projects.

The Role

You?ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B accounts while actively developing new business opportunities. This role combines account management, outbound sales, and consultative solution selling within a rapidly expanding industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow existing customer accounts to maximise value and profitability

Proactively generate new business through outbound calls and market prospecting

Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers

Understand customer project requirements and recommend suitable power solutions

Handle customer queries and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams

Keep CRM updated and maintain accurate sales records

Support marketing activities including trade shows and industry events

Monitor market trends, competitors, and new product opportunities

About You

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Confident in B2B outbound sales (including some cold calling)

Target-driven with a proactive, positive attitude

Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Background in electronics, electrical products, or solar is an advantage

Previous experience in the solar or renewable energy sector highly desirable
