The Opportunity

Our client, a highly prestigious and academically outstanding grammar school based near Portsmouth, is seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Geography Teacher to join their thriving and well-resourced Geography department. This role is suitable for both experienced practitioners and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to launch their careers in a dynamic and supportive school.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

* Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 to 5

* Plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that foster curiosity and academic rigour

* Contribute to the continued development of the Geography curriculum and co-curricular activities

* Use a variety of teaching methods and technologies to support different learning styles

* Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and CPD opportunities

* Demonstrate strong classroom management, professional conduct, and an enthusiasm for collaborative learning

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – PGCE or equivalent required
