A leading engineering and manufacturing business in Sunbury-on-Thames is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to play a vital role in enhancing supplier performance, supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), and driving continuous improvement across the global supply chain.
As the Supplier Quality Specialist, you’ll act as a key interface between procurement, operations, quality, and engineering, ensuring that supplier quality standards are upheld and continually improved. You’ll take ownership of auditing, root cause analysis, supplier problem-solving, and supporting new product launches from a quality perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure supplier quality documentation aligns with company standards and support new product introductions
* Conduct supplier audits and support supplier selection for NPI
* Perform source inspections and lead 8D problem-solving activities with suppliers
* Collaborate with purchasing and engineering teams to address quality concerns and drive corrective actions
* Monitor and improve supplier KPIs, resolve non-conformances, and contribute to strategic reviews with key vendors
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience in a supplier quality, supplier development, or manufacturing quality role
* Solid understanding of quality tools including 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective Action
* Experience supporting NPI or resourcing projects in an engineering environment
* Comfortable conducting on-site supplier audits and supporting 3rd party inspections
* Excellent communication and analytical skills; confident liaising with internal and external stakeholders
This Supplier Quality Specialist role is based full-time onsite in Sunbury-on-Thames and may include some travel to supplier locations
