About the Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Individual Needs Assistant, you will work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who require additional support with their learning, emotional wellbeing, or social development. You’ll play a vital role in helping children thrive both academically and personally, ensuring they feel confident, motivated, and included.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing tailored support to children with special educational needs (SEN)
Encouraging pupils to engage with learning and achieve their full potential
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Collaborating with teachers and the SENCO to implement individual support strategies
Creating a calm, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for every child
What We’re Looking For:
Experience supporting children with additional needs or SEN (desirable)
A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to high expectations and inclusive practice
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
