£320 - £360 / day DOE plus mileage & expenses

Minimum 40 weeks

This is a FREELANCE / TEMPORARY position

As a construction main contractor with an interior fit out & refurbishment division with 25+ years of experience, our client has an opportunity for a freelance Project Manager to join the business to take on the full responsibility to deliver a £5m Design & Build refurbishment project in the East Midlands. Having previously worked with customers in a wide range of sectors including but not limited to; commercial offices, retail, industrial, universities etc. the firm look to create contemporary and innovative workplace designs through their solutions.

The role has opened after being awarded a number of new contracts for commercial, retail & office interior fit outs across England.

Project Manager Responsibilities Include:

Programme and manage the delivery of projects across the country when required
Liaise with clients to develop and maintain relationships
Ensure that each stage of the project runs on time and to budget
Assessment of sub-contractor packages and negotiating, ensuring best possible commercial and programme packages are achieved
Management of a Site Management team for relevant projects Requirements for the Project Manager role:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, integrity, respect for confidentiality, sound judgment, and decision-making skills
Experience of managing Design & Build (D&B) refurbishment projects up to £8m
Be efficient, detail and quality minded, hardworking, flexible and responsible with a positive working attitude and a willingness to support colleagues
Relevant training and qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, first aid)
Knowledge and experience of using the following software - Windows MS Office / Fully proficient with Excel, Word & Microsoft Project Programme
A full UK driving licenceBenefits and Package
