Sustainability Consultant – BREEAM Assessor
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £35,000 - £48,000
A growing engineering and environmental design consultancy in Birmingham is seeking an experienced BREEAM Assessor to join their team. The role will involve the delivery of BREEAM, WELL and Fitwell assessments as well as other sustainability certifications and reporting projects.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and deliver BREEAM assessments across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Undertake embodied carbon life cycle assessments in line with BREEAM requirements.
Prepare and present clear environmental, sustainability, and energy performance reports.
Collaborate closely with clients and internal/external design teams, providing expert sustainability guidance and technical advice.
Manage your own workload effectively while supporting colleagues with knowledge sharing and technical input where required.What we’re looking for:
Qualified BREEAM Assessor with active membership of relevant professional bodies or societies.
Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in an Environmental, Sustainability, or related discipline.
Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills with excellent written and verbal English.
A proactive team player, eager to contribute to business success and your own professional development.
Experience and/or qualifications in recognised environmental assessment methods such as WELL, CEEQUAL, LEED, or HQM.
Solid understanding of sustainable design principles and a desire to expand knowledge of emerging best practices and technologies.
Motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative individual with a passion for sustainability.
Hold a full UK driving licence.Benefits:
