Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager

Overview:
Our client, is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager with a strong background in networking to lead the development and support of their enterprise infrastructure environment.
This is a key leadership role within the technology function, offering the opportunity to shape the organisation’s infrastructure strategy and manage a high-performing technical team. The successful candidate will be the subject matter expert for all things networking while ensuring broader infrastructure operations align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the delivery, performance, and security of the organisation’s network infrastructure (including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, wireless, and VPN solutions).
Lead and develop a team of infrastructure and network engineers, fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.
Work closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to ensure infrastructure services are robust, scalable, and fit for future growth.
Take ownership of network architecture, ensuring it meets both current operational needs and future strategic goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and modernisation to optimise service delivery.
Maintain documentation, policies, and standards for infrastructure operations.
Support incident, change, and problem management processes related to infrastructure services.Candidate Profile:

A proven track record in managing IT infrastructure within medium to large-scale enterprise environments, with specialist expertise in networking.
Strong technical knowledge across key networking technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar.
Experience managing hybrid or cloud network environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
Solid understanding of network security principles, best practices, and technologies.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate technical teams.
Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Azure Network Engineer, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project delivery skill
