Job title: Sheet metal worker

Location: Burnley

Job type: Temp-Perm

Working hours: Monday – Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Friday 8.00am-12.00pm

Rate: £15-£18.50ph dependant on experience – overtime available

AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled reliable time served sheet metal worker to join their team.

Specialising in manufacturing, welding, finishing and 3D software design for over 40 years in the Burnley area.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the sheet metal worker role:

· Sheet metal and TIG welding experience

· Experience working with stainless and mild steel

· Ability to work from 1.5ml up to 12ml

· Able to use all workshop equipment such as guillotines and presses

· Able to read and understand detailed engineering drawings

· Able to work with minimal supervision

· Able to problem solve and work under pressure

· Trade test and weld test required at interview stage

Qualifications and Skills are required for the sheet metal worker role:

An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable

5 years experience with sheet metal
