Night Shift Fluid Processing Operator

Location: Diversey – Cotes Park Industrial Estate, Alfreton
Shift: Nights
Reporting to: Production / Shift Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Shift Fluid Processing Operator to join our manufacturing team at our Cotes Park facility in Alfreton. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining fluid processing equipment to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality production of chemical and hygiene products.

Key Responsibilities

Operate fluid processing plant and associated equipment in line with SOPs and production schedules

*

Monitor tanks, pipelines, pumps, valves, and mixing systems to ensure accurate batching and processing

*

Accurately measure, transfer, and blend raw materials in accordance with production specifications

*

Carry out quality checks and record process data to ensure compliance with company standards

*

Troubleshoot minor equipment faults and escalate issues where required

*

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with site GMP and health & safety policies

*

Complete all relevant production and safety documentation accurately and on time

*

Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Adhere strictly to COSHH regulations and chemical handling procedures

*

Use appropriate PPE at all times

*

Report hazards, near misses, and incidents promptly

*

Contribute to a strong safety-first culture on site

Skills & Experience Required

*

Previous experience in a manufacturing, chemical, or fluid processing environment preferred

*

Experience operating pumps, valves, and automated processing systems desirable

*

Good numerical skills and attention to detail

*

Ability to follow written procedures accurately

*

Comfortable working independently on night shifts

*

Basic IT skills for data entry and production systems

*

Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
