About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive, detail driven Senior Accountant (qualified or QBE) with strong technical ability and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. In this role, you’ll work closely with managers and directors, gaining hands on experience across a diverse client portfolio.
Because of our size and structure, you won’t be limited to one type of work—you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of assignments, helping you build a deeper, more versatile skill set.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare financial statements and management accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders
* Draft business tax returns for manager/director review
* Liaise directly with clients and support their needs alongside the client manager
* Conduct audits both in-office and at client premises
* Assist senior team members in managing client portfolios
* Complete assigned training within agreed timeframes
* Support managers and directors with ad hoc tasks
Qualifications & Experience
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or QBE with strong experience)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting practice
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Proficiency with Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Microsoft Office

* Experience with audits and portfolio management
* Commercial awareness and proactive problem solving
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
