About the Role
You’ll start with a structured training plan, spending time across all areas of the department and working closely with our maintenance team. This will help you gain a full understanding of our machinery, processes, and procedures. Once up to speed, you’ll work alongside our experienced Engineers to keep production running at its best.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Taking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of colleagues, following all risk assessments and procedures.
* Working closely with Cell Technicians and Cell Leaders to maximise production output and minimise downtime.
* Ensuring machines are in top mechanical and electrical condition so we can consistently produce high-quality products.
* Sourcing parts and services when required – ensuring they are cost-effective, right first time, and delivered on time.
* Maintaining a tidy, organised work area and following all health, safety, hygiene, and legal requirements.
* Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns and completing repairs to the highest standard.
What We’re Looking For
* Fully qualified apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer (Level 3).
* City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
* Multi-skilled with experience in both mechanical and electrical fault-finding.
* Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
* PLC and drive knowledge is an advantage.
* GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* Previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
