Location: Grays

Salary: £60,500 basic plus overtime and call out payments

Hours: 45 hours per week

Shifts: Rotating early and late shifts, plus 1 in 3 weeks on call (24/7 cover)

We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in West Thurrock. This role offers excellent earning potential with a £60,500 basic salary, overtime at enhanced rates, and a call out payment. You will work a rotating shift pattern and be part of a 24/7 on-call rota, ensuring vehicles are kept roadworthy and safe.

Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

Carry out service, maintenance and repairs on HGVs
Complete roadside breakdown support when required
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
Work to manufacturer and industry standards
Maintain accurate service records and compliance documents
Skills and Qualifications for an HGV Technician

Essential

Level 3 HGV Technician qualification or equivalent
Experience working on HGVs, ideally dealership background
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Full UK manual driving licence
Desirable

Breakdown and roadside repair experience
HGV Class 1 licence
