We are currently recruiting for a Fitters Mate to join a growing team supporting the installation and maintenance of industrial doors and related systems for a highly reputable organisation.

Location: Based in or around Chatham, Kent

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in a hands-on, practical trade. You’ll be working directly alongside and learning from a highly experienced industrial door engineer, gaining real on-the-job training every step of the way.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Assisting with the installation, servicing, and repair of industrial doors

*

Supporting a senior engineer on-site with tools, materials, and general tasks

*

Learning essential skills in mechanical fitting and electrical systems

*

Following health & safety procedures and site protocols

What We’re Looking For:

*

Located in Chatham or nearby areas

*

Reliable, hands-on, and eager to learn a skilled trade

*

A good work ethic and willingness to develop within the role

*

Previous experience in a manual or mechanical role is a plus, but not essential
