Salary: £30,000 (plus bonus)

Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm

Location: Cardiff and Treorchy (Office based splitting time between the two)

Our client is looking for an experienced mortgage manager to join their small but dynamic team.

As an independent business, our client has been providing professional advice to clients across the UK for over 21 years.

As a Mortgage Manager you will be processing new applications for Residential & Buy to Let mortgages against the appropriate policies in preparation for lenders to complete their underwriting processes. You will have a keen understanding of compliance processes, which are to be observed and monitored at all times. You will undertake a range of administration tasks and maintain consistency across the core systems.

The Mortgage Manager will build and maintain relationships and deal effectively with enquires from customers, lenders, and third parties.

As a Mortgage Manager you will need:

* CeMAP qualification (desirable)

* Excellent ICT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office

* Confidence and the ability to build positive working relationships

* Great organisation and communication skills

* A keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise own workload

* The drive and passion to learn within the role

* Experience within the financial industry is desirable

* This role may suit a former mortgage broker or mortgage administrator
