In this crucial full-time role, with a significant focus on Key Stage 5 (A-Level Design & Technology/Product Design), you will:

* Maximise Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring exceptional student outcomes in GCSE and particularly A-Level DT, equipping them with the sophisticated design, analytical, technical, and evaluative skills required for top university placements.

* Shape Curriculum & Pedagogy (TLR Focus): With the potential TLR, you could be responsible for refining the KS5 curriculum, implementing innovative teaching strategies, managing specialist equipment areas, or mentoring less experienced staff, driving academic and practical standards.

* Deliver Engaging and Rigorous Lessons: Utilise your expertise to deliver meticulously structured and challenging lessons that align with the demands of the DT curricula at all key stages, fostering deep understanding of complex design challenges and advanced manufacturing.

* Motivate and Support High Achievers: Work with exceptionally bright and engaged students, including those aspiring to top design, engineering, and architecture courses, providing the necessary extension and support to enable them to excel.
