About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing in a warm and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
Work with individuals or small groups of pupils to reinforce learning
Assist in preparing learning materials and classroom resources
Provide pastoral care and help promote positive behaviour
Support children with additional needs, where required
Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
Assist during break and lunchtimes as needed

About You

We would love to hear from you if you are:

Patient, kind, and proactive
Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Organised and able to use your initiative
A strong communicator with good literacy and numeracy skills
Passionate about helping children thrive and succeedExperience working with children-whether in a school, nursery, youth work, or volunteering-is highly desirable, but not essential. Full training can be provided for the right candidate.
