Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Torquay
Salary: £27,000 to £29,000 DOE
Hours: Full time, Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 5:00pm

The Role: As an Accounts assistant you will work in a small team and be part of a vibrant open plan office where no two days are the same. You will be expected to provide effective support to the accounts department using a wide range of business software applications. You will have contact with a clients, in person and by telephone/email as well as other firms and related professional organisations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Answering client inquiries and managing emails professionally
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Maintaining Sales and Purchase Ledgers accurately
Raising, sending, or discussing a client's invoice
Overseeing credit control processes
Preparation of management account report each month
Manage, organise & update relevant data using database applicationsYour skills and attributes:
Proven experience in finance
Proficiency in financial software XERO and MS Office, particularly Excel
Analytical mindset with strong math skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
A can-do attitude and self-motivation
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
