Our client, a respected and growing mechanical services contractor, is seeking an experienced Commercial Site Supervisor to manage the delivery of mechanical installations across a variety of commercial settings, including education, healthcare, and leisure facilities. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term career development and industry training.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising all commercial site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards. You will act as the key liaison between site operatives and office-based management.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day commercial project activities, ensuring quality and deadlines are met
Maintain accurate project schedules and documentation
Attend bi-weekly progress meetings with management
Coordinate with office staff on site logistics, staffing, and materials
Support with planning, client onboarding, and cost breakdowns
Handle onsite issues and escalate when required
Lead and supervise subcontractors and engineers, ensuring all tasks meet specifications
Enforce Health & Safety and PPE compliance on all sites
Delivery & Materials:
Receive and inspect deliveries
Report any damaged or missing materials
Ensure delivery documentation is accurate and returned to head office
Authority & Communication:
Act as the lead supervisor on commercial sites
Maintain strong communication across site and office teams
Requirements:
SSSTS or SMSTS certification
Valid First Aid certificate
CSCS card
Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain)
Strong supervisory experience in construction
