Skilled Toolmaker with relevant experience

Location: Birmingham

Hourly rate: £18.00-£22.00 per hour depending on experience

We are looking for an experienced Skilled Toolmaker with strong hands-on expertise to join our precision engineering team. We are seeking someone with a deep understanding of tool making processes, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality work consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision tooling, jigs, and fixtures
Interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications
Operate a range of manual and CNC machinery
Conduct tooling adjustments, modifications, and fault-finding
Ensure all work meets stringent quality and safety standardsRequirements:

Proven record of vast tool making experience
Strong knowledge of machining, fitting, and assembly techniques
Ability to work independently and solve technical problems
