Position: HGV Technician
Location: Sherburn in Elmet
Shifts: 4 on, 4 off
Salary:

Day Shift: £19.92 p/h (£43,500 per year)

*

Night Shift: £22.60 p/h (£49,500 per year)

Key Responsibilities:

*

Perform diagnostics and repairs to high standards

*

Ensure “right first-time” repairs (zero rectification ratio)

*

Maintain tools, machines, and workshop equipment

*

Record repair times and report maintenance progress

*

Collaborate with VMU manager for parts and labour needs

*

Keep workshop clean, safe, and organised

*

Build strong working relationships within the team

What We Need:

*

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance

*

Experience in fleet/commercial vehicle maintenance

*

Strong IT skills to deliver objectives

*

Safety-focused, with a “right first-time” approach

*

Flexible, can-do attitude, and team player

*

HGV Class 1 Licence (preferred)

*

Tail lift experience (desirable)
