The Opportunity
We’re recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading main contractor delivering a £15 million commercial and residential construction project in Maidstone, Kent.
The scheme includes an extension to an existing building, the fit-out of 80 luxury apartments, and a floor of modern commercial space.
This is a great opportunity for a construction professional looking to take ownership of a mixed-use development in the South East.
Key Responsibilities

Manage all on-site activities for the residential and commercial build.
*
Supervise subcontractors and trades to ensure high-quality delivery.
*
Oversee health & safety compliance (SMSTS essential).
*
Coordinate project timelines and report progress to the Project Manager.
*
Drive quality control and ensure snag-free completion.
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, and design teams to achieve targets.
Requirements
*
Previous experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or Fit-Out Site Manager.
*
Proven track record on residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects valued £10m+.
*
Strong understanding of fit-out, refurbishment, and extension works.
*
Background with a main contractor or developer.
*
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.
*
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
