Ackerman Pierce work closely with County Councils to provide one to one tutoring for children waiting for school placements. The children we are looking to support have a range of additional complex needs and so we are seeking experienced SEN /HLTA's/tutors/teachers.

We are currently recruiting for KS2-KS3 Tutor to provide provision to a Student based in Suffolk.

Location - Suffolk
Position - 1:1 Tutor
Start date - ASAP
End date - Ongoing - Until the end of the academic year, with potential of being extended.
Contract type - Temporary
Hours - Up to 3 hours per day - 5 days per week (Monday - Friday)
Rate of pay - £25/£35 per hour
Term Time Only
During School Hours Only
We are looking for candidates who are:-

Available during school hours up to 15hrs contracts per week
Experienced in delivering differentiated National Curriculum core subjects
Experience teaching young people with a wide range of complex and challenging needs including SEMH/ASC/MLD/SpLD
Exceptional behaviour management strategies
Prepared to work face to face within the communityThis will be continuous and until the student is placed within a suitable school.

Requirements

Background teaching in English, Maths, Science or SEN classes ranging from KS2-KS5.
QTS status (or equivalent) or unqualified with two years experience teaching NC core subjects
Two years of teaching in a UK school to SEN pupils
Experience working with ASD/EBD/SEMH and associated complex needs.Why Choose Ackerman Pierce?
