The Role:
Are you a skilled Immigration Solicitor with a passion for providing exceptional legal services? Our client, a reputable law firm based in Stratford, is seeking an experienced individual to join their team. The firm deals with a variety of immigration cases including asylum claims.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling a caseload of immigration matters, including but not limited to visa applications, asylum claims, and appeals.
* Providing legal advice and representation to clients in immigration proceedings.
* Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in immigration law and policy.
* Drafting legal documents, including applications, affidavits, and submissions.
* Communicating with clients, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
* Collaborating with other members of the legal team and supporting colleagues as needed.
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client matters.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor (at least 3-4 years PQE)
* Proven experience in immigration law, with a strong knowledge of UK immigration laws and procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
* Experience working with fee sharing arrangements preferred but not required.
* Local to Stratford or willing to relocate.
