Science Teacher

Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive 11–16 comprehensive school situated close to Basingstoke town centre. The school has a strong focus on academic progress and student wellbeing, supported by excellent science facilities including dedicated labs and prep areas.

We are looking for a teacher with a passion for science education who can deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach General Science across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics specialism welcome)

*

Plan and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons that inspire curiosity and scientific thinking

*

Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment design, and enrichment activities

*

Support the progress and achievement of all learners through effective teaching and feedback

What We’re Looking For:

A qualified Science teacher (QTS/QTLS)

*

Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching

*

Ability to teach across the science disciplines at KS3 and KS4

*

A collaborative and reflective practitioner

*

Suitable for experienced teachers and confident ECTs
