Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a UK based renewable energy company who specialises in the development, construction and operation of utility scale solar projects, to recruit a Solar Site Manager to be based in the Warrington area.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Operations Director you will:
Lead initial site setup, including welfare facilities, implementation of quality systems, and development of site-specific plans.
Oversee and manage daily on-site installation of Solar PV systems, ensuring compliance with project designs, specifications, and schedules.
Ensure full adherence to Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution and alignment with project goals.
Monitor project progress and provided regular, clear updates to all stakeholders.
Manage site logistics, including scheduling and coordination of equipment deliveries.
Maintain open and proactive communication with the Management Team
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Solar PV installation, with a strong emphasis on large-scale ground-mounted and rooftop projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Demonstrated expertise in managing quality systems and ensuring full compliance with industry and project-specific standards.
Proven track record in supervising contractors and effectively managing on-site personnel.
Skilled in producing accurate documentation and detailed progress reports.
Certified in SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
Trained in First Aid and designated as a Fire Warden.
Thorough understanding of Health & Safety regulations, with a strong commitment to best practices and safe site operations.
