Duties and Responsibilities of the Science Teacher in Havering, Essex:

* Plan and deliver fun, engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

* Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the chance to teach KS5 if it’s the right fit

* Get involved in shaping the curriculum and helping the department grow

* Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment that reflects the school’s values

* Adapt your teaching to support students with different learning styles and needs

* Keep your classroom a calm, focused, and respectful place to learn

* Track students’ progress and give clear, helpful feedback to help them improve

* Work closely with colleagues to keep lessons consistent and connected across year groups

* Take part in school meetings and have a say in planning and decision-making
