They’re currently seeking a Payroll Administration Assistant to support the accurate preparation and checking of payroll data, ensuring everything is correct before submission to their external payroll provider.

Please note: strong Excel skills are essential for this role. You’ll be working with spreadsheets daily — using formulas, filters, and manipulating data — so you’ll need to be confident and comfortable in this environment. Full training will be provided on payroll processes, but an eye for detail and proficiency with Excel are non-negotiable.

Using Excel to prepare, manage, and verify payroll data

Supporting general administrative duties relating to payroll

As a Payroll Administration Assistant, your skills and experience will include:

Intermediate Excel skills – confident using formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF), filtering data, and formatting spreadsheets

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Comfort working with large datasets and sensitive information

Strong organisational skills and a methodical approach
