We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead the delivery of a school refurbishment project in Rochester. This is a live site, so an active Enhanced DBS certificate is essential. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing refurbishment works within educational environments, with a strong focus on health & safety, safeguarding, and tight programme delivery.

? Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations on a live school site

Coordinate trades, subcontractors, and deliveries to meet project timelines

*

Enforce strict health, safety, and safeguarding protocols

*

Liaise with the school, project team, and local authorities

*

Ensure high-quality workmanship and timely handover

✅ Requirements:

*

Proven experience in managing school or public sector refurbishments

*

Enhanced DBS certificate

*

SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White), and First Aid

*

Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills

*

Ability to work sensitively in a live school environment
