Tradewind Recruitment is seeking caring, motivated individuals to support children who need additional help both in school and occasionally in off-site locations. This is a rewarding opportunity for anyone who wants to make a meaningful impact on young people's lives.

The Role

As a Support Assistant, you will work with children and young people who may struggle to attend full-time mainstream education. Your role may include:

Delivering personalised one-to-one learning sessions, sometimes off-site when students cannot attend school.

Providing emotional, social and practical support to help them stay engaged in education.

Creating a calm, positive and encouraging learning environment wherever sessions take place.

Working closely with teaching staff to monitor progress, wellbeing and next steps.

Helping students build confidence, routine, and re-engagement with learning.

Driving Requirement

Because the role may involve occasional travel to off-site locations, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Confident delivering basic curriculum content or tutoring-style sessions.
