We're looking for a results-driven, forward-thinking Logistics Supervisor to lead the logistics operations and take them to the next level. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love optimising systems, and know how to get the best out of a team, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
You'll take the lead on the movement and storage of goods, ensuring operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on time. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you'll make sure we deliver on our promises-every time. This is a pivotal role where you'll shape logistics strategy, improve processes, and build a high-performing team, all while staying within budget and delivering top-tier service.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate all logistics functions-from warehousing to transportation and delivery
Ensure stock is controlled, tracked, and moved efficiently across the business
Drive cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance
Manage import/export operations and duty deferment accounts with precision
Champion continuous improvement, introducing smarter ways of working across systems and teams
Recruit, train and mentor a motivated team-bringing out the best in every individual
Monitor and improve performance, productivity, and team engagement
Build strong relationships with carriers and customers to ensure seamless service
Take full ownership of Health & Safety within your area
Oversee stocktakes and maintain robust inventory accuracy
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
ILM Level 5+ in a relevant discipline or equivalent
Import/export qualification (highly desirable)
Experience:
2+ years in a logistics role with end-to-end responsibility
1+ years handling import/export processes
A proven track record of leading teams and delivering results
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
Experience working in an SME environment
Confident communicator across all business levels
Solid knowledge of ERP systems
