Graduate Trainee Accountant – ACA Study Support, Guildford, £23,000 – £25,500

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious graduate who is keen to gain hands-on experience in audit, accounts, and tax. You will be supported by an experienced team and benefit from exposure to a varied client portfolio, including Owner-Managed Businesses and SMEs across a range of sectors.

About the Role:

You will join the Audit & Accounts team, where you will gain comprehensive training and mentorship. Your day-to-day duties will include:

Assisting with bookkeeping and the preparation of quarterly VAT returns

Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts

Preparing year-end statutory accounts and financial statements

Understanding and preparing corporation tax returns

Taking part in audit assignments from planning through to completion

Working with leading cloud accounting systems such as Xero

About You:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual who is:

A recent graduate (or due to graduate in Summer 2025) with a 2:1 degree or above

Keen to pursue the ACA qualification and develop a career in practice

Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, ideally through previous part-time work, internships, volunteering, or extracurricular activities that involved dealing with people or clients

A proactive team player with excellent attention to detail and time management skills

Located within a reasonable commute of Guildford – ideally with access to a car
