About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will help develop our business through excellent food service.
The food service assistant will work as part of the team which covers the busy Folk Hall café and the adjacent care home dining rooms.
The role will assist the operational management of the catering services in the care home and folk hall. Low level food preparation such as sandwich making and reheating foods for service. Café counter service to our customers in the folk hall.
Building strong relationships with all our stakeholders including but not limited to residents, staff, the public and the wider JRHT community is a huge part of the role.
Typical shifts are between 5 & 8 hours long over 4 to 5 days a week and include weekends.
About you
You will have some experience in food service and enjoy working as part of a team. You will have an eye for detail and a willingness to make a difference in the lives of others. A friendly and can-do attitude, as well as an outgoing personality.
A food safety certification is preferential and an awareness of allergens in food. If you have this desire and a drive to succeed, then we would love to hear from you.
