We are currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer on behalf of our client, to support the safe and effective delivery of both maintenance and growth CAPEX projects on their COMAH-regulated facility.
  
This is a permanent opportunity based in Teesside.
  
Role Responsibilities:

Lead engineering activities for assigned projects from feasibility to commissioning.
Prepare technical documentation, coordinate design reviews, and manage project queries.
Ensure compliance with UK regulations (CDM, COMAH) and internal safety procedures.
Support stakeholder engagement and interface with planning authorities, regulatory bodies, and contractors.
Track project budgets, forecasts, and ensure accurate reporting. Key Requirements:

Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Process or similar)
PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certified
Project experience within process, chemical, or COMAH-regulated sites
Proficient in AutoCAD, P&ID, HAZOP, and risk assessment methodologies
Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills This is a superb opportunity to be part of an established, safety-led engineering team delivering impactful infrastructure projects
