Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £30,000 to £44,870 (depending on experience)
Also open to unqualified teachers with strong subject knowledge and classroom experience

About the Role:

A dynamic secondary school in Milton Keynes is looking to appoint a passionate and creative English Teacher to join their English department from September. You’ll be delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons to inspire students and help them develop strong literacy, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Contribute to the wider school community, including clubs or enrichment
Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, supportive, and respectful
Requirements:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) preferred
Experience teaching English at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and passion for literature and language
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A commitment to student progress and wellbeing
Open to Unqualified Teachers:

We also welcome applications from strong unqualified candidates who have solid classroom experience, a degree in English or a related field, and a genuine desire to pursue a teaching career. Support and mentoring can be provided.
