Job Title: Electrical Assembler

Location: Redditch

Pay: £12.21 per hour

HR Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Assembler based in Redditch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Drilling and tapping.

* Cutting, soldering, de-soldering and heat shrinking wires.

* Soldering electrical components.

* Wiring

* Using the crimping tools

* Safe handling and use of potting compounds, sealants, and solvent cleaners.

* Electrical testing to ensure conformance to specifications

* Recognizing electronic parts.

* Using multimeters.

* Installing finished assemblies or subassemblies in boxes and cabinets.

* Reading and interpreting drawings, electrical diagrams, specifications, route cards.

* Correcting defects.

* Building products such as electric motors, and electronic control devices.

* Fabricating or modifying parts, using shop equipment.

* Populating or modifying/replacing components on printed circuit board assemblies.

* Working to company procedures, instructions and drawings

* Maintaining housekeeping standards in work area.

Experience

* Good knowledge of the basics of electrics or electronics.

* Good soldering skills essential

* Experience in using crimping tools

* Manual skills

* Ability to work in a group

* Communication skills

* The ability to think logically

* Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
