Job Title: Site Manager 

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Durham 

Day Rate: £250 - £280per day depending on experience 

Client: A specialist contractor who specialise in refurbishment and fit out projects who hold an excellent reputation across London and surrounding areas 

Project: My client are seeking a Site Manager with experience in fit out and internal refurbishments to run a fit out project within an industrial unit. Works include m&e installation, decoration, mezzanine flooring and sprinkler systems. 

Responsibilities:

Stand alone Site Manager reporting into a visiting Contracts Director 

Management and coordination of Labour

Sequencing Subcontractors 

Site safety which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions for Labour and Subcontractors 

Management and coordination of deliveries 

Procurement of materials and plant 

Tool box talks and inductions 

Site inspections 

Arranging call offs for testing 

The Successful candidate will have:

Proven experience in similar role 

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Relevant qualification in construction management or related field.

CSCS card & SMSTS & First Aid.
