We are seeking a strategic and visionary Head of Education to lead and manage curriculum, quality, and compliance. This role is responsible for overseeing teaching excellence, learner success, and regulatory compliance across a range of apprenticeship and adult skills programs.

Reporting to senior leadership, this is a key role for a highly motivated and experienced education leader who can drive innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the education team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Team Management

Lead the Quality and Curriculum Lead, ASF Lead, and Apprenticeship Lead, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Foster a high-performing, collaborative culture, setting clear expectations and goals.

Provide professional development opportunities to ensure teaching excellence across all learning programs.

Curriculum & Quality Improvement

Oversee curriculum development to ensure industry relevance and engaging learning experiences.

Implement innovative teaching methodologies to drive learner engagement and achievement.

Ensure compliance with Ofsted, DfE, and ESFA regulatory requirements.

Act as the Ofsted Nominee and lead on the Quality Cycle to maintain high standards.

Workforce Development & Stakeholder Engagement

Lead, coach, and mentor the education team to drive performance and quality improvements.

Develop strategic partnerships with employers, industry leaders, and community stakeholders to enhance educational opportunities.

Learner Success & Performance Monitoring

Oversee learner progress, achievement, and personal development, ensuring contract KPIs and targets are exceeded.

Implement data-driven strategies to enhance learner outcomes and quality of education.

Apprenticeships & Adult Skills

Ensure the high-quality delivery of apprenticeship and adult skills programs.

Maintain compliance with funding regulations and apprenticeship standards while driving continuous improvement.

Financial & Compliance Leadership

Oversee budget management for curriculum and quality, ensuring resource allocation supports strategic goals.

Champion diversity, inclusion, and safeguarding, ensuring an inclusive learning environment for all learners.

About You

Essential

Proven experience in education leadership, curriculum management, and quality assurance.

Strong understanding of Ofsted, DfE, and ESFA compliance and funding regulations.

Expertise in curriculum design, teaching, and quality improvement strategies.

Excellent strategic planning, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Passion for innovation, education transformation, and learner success.
