Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a Production Supervisor for a well known manufacturing business. As the successful Production Supervisor you will be responsible for leading shop floor operations to ensure efficient day-to-day production, high quality standards, and on-time delivery.

The role involves supervising production teams, optimising workflows, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a safe and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output and delivery targets
Allocate tasks and resources effectively to maximise productivity
Monitor production performance, quality standards, and KPIs
Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
Identify and resolve operational issues in real time to minimise downtime
Support and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance management
Collaborate with management to improve processes and drive operational excellence
Maintain accurate production records and reports
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork
Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment
Strong understanding of production processes and quality control standards
Effective leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
IT literate with experience using production or reporting systems
