Autism Support Assistant - Lewisham

Are you the kind of person that would like to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with Autism? If so, Milk Education are recruiting for a full-time Autism Support Assistant to work with a pupil within a high achieving school in Lewisham on a full-time basis.

This is a Monday - Friday role and would require you to work 08.30 - 16:00. We are not currently accepting applications for part time.

Autism Support Assistant role & responsibilities:

* Supporting the class teacher to deliver lessons
* Helping the pupils regulate
* Creating a fun and safe environment for the children to thrive
* Assist with personal care

Autism Support Assistant Non-negotiables:

* Must have recent and relevant experience working with children or adults with learning disabilities and/or Autism in an education or health and social care capacity
* Be available Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:00
* Comfortable providing personal care
* Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
